For
many years, Warwickshire County Council Outdoor Education
Service have paddled untamed rivers, climbed amidst snow capped
mountains, sea kayaked around coastlines and ventured underground
in many parts of the UK and Europe.
The Outdoor Education Service organise and manage a range
of adventure challenges for all types of youth groups, schools,
families, companies and other organisations every year. Recent
customised programmes include:
Expeditions
with the UK and Europe. Problem solving and team building,
Rope courses. Sailing/dry slope skiing/mountain biking/pony
trekking can also be arranged on request.

We
take great pride in creating a unique experience based on the group’s
interests and preferences. Our highly experienced and qualified instructors
bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to each challenge/activity. Top
quality outdoor gear is field-tested and regularly renewed. Join us
for the Outdoor Challenge, an experience to ‘’last a lifetime’’.
Each
programme or challenge offers the participant both educational and adventurous
activities. We promote learning, healthy lifestyles and personal /social
development as part of all our activities.
We are looking for groups who are ready to take on the outdoor challenge
to explore some of the most outstanding scenery in the UK, to expand
personal horizons and to push themselves to the limit.
Programmes
of activity can last from two hours to seven days and may take place
within the county or further afield.The programmes of activity allow
groups to participate in a variety of experiences ranging from one off
tutor sessions to skills based multi-sessions, residentials and expeditioning.
All programmes are designed to meet the requirements of client groups
and can cover subject matter linked with the National Curriculum, Youth
Curriculum and Adult Education.
Courses
leading to National Governing Body Awards are available to teachers,
youth leaders and the general public.
